Just like the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team, the watch parties at Al Lang Stadium are bringing their A-game this summer. The Tampa Bay Rowdies, Michelob Ultra and PMB Events announced they are partnering again for the USA Soccer Watch Party Series as team USA moves on from the group stage and into the knockout round of 32, playing against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, July 1.
More than 3,000 were in attendance at the watch party at Al Lang for Team USA’s opener two weeks ago, and even more are expected this time around. To enhance the experience, the watch party will feature more (and bigger) screens, creating perfect views from every angle of the stadium. Tickets are available here with kickoff at 8 pm and gates at 6 pm.

And also, we’re putting this one in all-caps because it may be the best stadium deal in world football: FIVE DOLLAR BEERS AND SELTZERS, all night long. Throughout the stadium, you can snag $5 Mich Ultras, NUTRLs, Stella Artois and more. No catch, just cheap drinks.
Michelob Ultra will also be doing giveaways all night, while concessions will be available throughout the stadium, including pizza favorite Colony Grill.
Of course, the main point is the soccer and the stadium vibes. The experience at Al Lang two weeks ago was incredible and genuinely felt like a gameday atmosphere, right down to the tarps off movement and the occasional beer shower in that particularly rowdy section. It’s the next best thing to being at the game, and it’s a heckuva lot cheaper at only $10 for a ticket.
The American Outlaws – St. Pete chapter will be leading a pre-game pep rally, as well as chants throughout the game. If you want the full World Cup Fever experience, this is where you want to be. Sunset on the water, followed by goals on the big screen in a game with everything on the line and five dollar beers keeping you “hydrated” is as good as a Wednesday night gets.
Plus, a portion of every ticket sold will benefit Ocean Aid 360 and The Williams Park Partnership. So you’re supporting the national team, our local waterways, and our city parks, all while enjoying a gameday atmosphere at Al Lang Stadium. That’s a win for everyone.
A win on Wednesday night would see the U.S. advance to the Round of 16, and it would be the first win in knockout rounds for the USMNT since Landon Donovan got the winning goal against Mexico in 2002 to advance to the quarterfinals. And if – when! – the U.S. advances, stay tuned for info on more watch parties.
Tickets to the Wednesday, July 1, watch party are available here.
One game not enough to satisfy your football fever? It’s the summer of soccer in St. Pete, and there’s plenty more action beyond the World Cup.
