Enjoy a wonderful play about personal responsibility, finding your purpose, and how second chances changed on man’s life beyond his wildest dreams. Ray Negron skipped school and was caught spray painting the Yankees Stadium by owner George Steinbrenner. In order to pay off the damages, Mr. Steinbrenner made him work off his debt. Ray became the Yankees bat boy and remained with the organization for 46 years and became one of the team’s most trusted advisors.

The Ibis String Quartet—violinists Julie Tollen and Rebecca Zapen, violist Lauren Collier, and cellist Ruth Kern—has performed its unique blend of Classical and Pop music throughout the Tampa Bay Area. On Saturday, Nov. 16, at 8:00 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in downtown St. Pete, Ibis will play, among others, selections by Beethoven, Dvorak, Mozart and Scott Joplin. Proceeds from the concert pay for the restoration of Trinity’s historic pipe organ.

The Coffee Pot Turkey Trot 5K, is a family–friendly, timed 5K looping around St. Petersburg’s Coffee Pot Bayou on Thanksgiving morning. Now in its third year the event is quickly becoming a beloved tradition for families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts. In 2019 we will be able to increase the field of runners as we debut an improved route utilizing closed streets. The event is hosted by the North Shore Elementary PTA.
