The Tampa Bay Rays don’t just want you to come to games this summer. They want to give you free stuff for showing up to The Trop.
It requires a ticket, of course, but the Rays are going all out with their free giveaways this year. The promotions range from jerseys (Pokemon, Italian soccer, Toy Story) to hats (Longo snapbacks, a Rays X Harry Potter crossover) and unique bobbleheads, such as the Chandler Simpson “Bobblelegs” going out this weekend or the devil ray “Flappy Boi” or even Snoopy in a Rays uniform.

There are two tiers to these giveaways, so make sure you know which is which before buying a ticket. A large number of these simply require you to show up, though those are first-come, first-served, so you’ll want to arrive early. You just need to be among the first 10,000 fans.
There are also several items that come as part of a themed ticket package, where you have to buy a specialty ticket that comes with a handful of perks. For these, you can’t just show up at the gate with your ballpark app, so make sure you double check. An asterisk* at the end of any of these lets you know that it requires a special ticket. If you’re planning to go with a full crew, such as on the university alumni nights, check for group ticket packages, too.
