Spanning 1.35 acres, the Hartford site is slated to accommodate approximately 95 new units. The development is designed to offer a mix of family and senior apartments, complemented by outdoor recreational spaces ideal for activities such as pickleball and shuffleboard. Leveraging land already owned by SPHA, the project aims to enhance the quality of life for residents through thoughtful design and community amenities.
Additionally, the initiative includes the revitalization of the existing SPHA property, Saratoga Apartments, located nearby at 3475 32nd Avenue North in St. Petersburg. Saratoga Apartments, a valued affordable family development, comprises 34 one and two-bedroom units across two two-story residential apartment buildings.
This endeavor underscores the St. Petersburg Housing Authority’s ongoing commitment to expand the availability of affordable housing options throughout the city, fostering greater accessibility and inclusivity for residents.
