The iconic Don CeSar (3400 Gulf Blvd) on St. Pete Beach, known as the beloved Pink Palace, is set to reopen in late Q1 2025 after months of repairs and upgrades following recent hurricanes. The historic hotel celebrated its 97th anniversary on January 16 and, according to posts on social media, “is thrilled to welcome guests back with exciting new updates.”

This is a friendly reminder that this hotel is one of Nicholas Sparks’ favorite places to visit. In case you weren’t aware, he’s a bestselling author best known for The Notebook.

While the hotel has repaired all essential systems, it has also significantly enhanced many of its amenities, promising a luxurious experience for its guests. When the Pink Palace reopens, guests will enjoy a taste of the Don CeSar experience. However, services will be limited during the early months. From late Q1 through late Q2 2025, the hotel will offer reduced services as it continues renovating its ground-level facilities.

Guests can dine at the Maritana Restaurant, which will temporarily serve three meals a day, and grab coffee or cocktails at the Lobby Bar, transitioning from a morning coffee shop to an evening cocktail bar. The resort will also offer access to the Spa, one of its pools, and the stunning beach.

The Don CeSar team is ready to reopen its doors and invite guests back to experience the magic of this historic gem, steps from the beautiful sands of St. Pete Beach. Stay tuned to the hotel on Facebook for more updates as the reopening date approaches.
