Massive tacos and tequila festival comes to the pier this weekend

Two people enjoying tacos

We’ll call it Taco-ween. This Halloween weekend, a massive taco festival is taking over the St. Pete Pier as Tacos + Tequila On The Pier brings a two-day, food-filled celebration to the Burg. The festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday, October 29 and 30, from 12 – 8 pm both days.

Hosted at Spa Beach Park on the pier, this waterfront festival features tons of authentic tacos, premium margaritas, games, music, and even Halloween costume contests. There will be more than 20 food trucks and vendors dishing out specialty taco dishes, authentic Mexican dishes and more, plus full bars for tequila, margaritas, beer, and other cocktails.

Taco lovers have two options to attend, both including an extravaganza of eats and drinks. Nueva Cantina VIP tickets ( $39 in advance, or $45 at the door), include food from Nueva Cantina Mexican restaurant, cocktails and spirit samples from local distilleries, and access to a private area with extra seating, tables, games, and other amenities. VIP tickets are available here.

General Admission tickets, available here, are $12 in advance or $15 at the door, and include entry into the event. All tickets are single day, either Saturday or Sunday.

Go all out on tacos, wash it down with cold margaritas

The lineup of food trucks is a stellar display of authentic cuisine, local favorites, and some highly underrated purveyors of tasty eats. From Tacos Mi Rancho and Quiero Mas Tacos, to Fui Yo, Estrada, and Tacos Anitas, there will be a wide range of fresh Mexican eats to choose from. Plus, try other favorites, like El Yukayeke Puerto Rican, Coco’s Latin Cuisine, Casablanca Fusion, and Brazilian Fun foods.

Oh, and don’t forget one of our favorites: street corn from El Roy’s Elotes. There will also be ice cream vendors, in case you need to cool down from spicy tacos.

You must be 21+ to attend Tacos + Tequila On The Pier, and dogs are allowed but must be on leashes. VIP tickets are available here, and GA tickets can be found here. Halloween costumes are encouraged both days, October 29 and 30. Learn more at tacosonthepier.com.
