Pickleball may just be the hottest thing in Pinellas County these days. The newest star to join the mix is Pickleball Kingdom, an indoor pickleball club opening this weekend at 7300 U.S. 19 N., near the intersection of Park Boulevard.
The new facility features 14 indoor pickleball courts made with the same surface material used for outdoor courts, and the club will be open seven days a week. Memberships are available at various price points, starting at $129 per month, though the public is invited to stop by for free play this weekend as part of the grand opening festivities.

The public is welcome to stop by Pickleball Kingdom for free play from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 16-17. Guests can also tour the expansive, state-of-the-art facility. Club memberships will also be available for purchase on-site.
Those who want to play are asked to download the Pickleball Kingdom app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and register in advance for their preferred time slot.
The idea behind Pickleball Kingdom is twofold: more courts and fewer weather concerns. Pickleball Kingdom Pinellas Park features professionally designed indoor courts, climate-controlled play, modern lighting, scoring and instant replay technology, and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. The club will also offer open play, leagues, tournaments, lessons, youth programming, and social events.
The Pickleball Kingdom franchise got its start in New Mexico just a few years ago, and it has quickly grown into one of the fastest-expanding indoor pickleball brands in the country. The Pinellas Park club is the third location in Florida.
“We are thrilled to finally open our doors to Pinellas Park,” said Steve Poborka, Owner of Pickleball Kingdom Pinellas Park. “This club was built to be more than just a place to play — it’s a place to connect, compete, and build a strong pickleball community.”
