And just like that, another Saturday Morning Market summer season ends. Elsewhere, the leaves changing is the first sign of fall, but here in St. Pete, it’s the Saturday Morning Market returning to Al Lang Stadium.
After a summer in a new location next to Williams Park, the beloved local market is taking the entire month of September off as a break for organizers and vendors. We hope you stocked up accordingly. Saturday Morning Market will pick back up on Saturday, October 3, returning to its primary fall, winter and spring home.

The return of the fall market season is always a sign that the best time of year in St. Pete is right around the corner. Soon enough, we’ll be wandering the grounds outside the stadium with coffee and sourdough in hand, listening to live music, and picking out fresh veggies. And we will be doing so without breaking a sweat. It can’t come soon enough.
The fall version of the Saturday Morning Market will take place every Saturday from 9 am – 2 pm from October through May, before returning to its summer home at Williams Park. See more at saturdaymorningmarket.com.
Saturday Morning Market is one of the country’s best regular markets
In operation since 2002, St. Petersburg’s Saturday Morning Market is one of the largest markets of its kind in the Southeast US, and ranks among the biggest in the country with an average weekly attendance of more than 10,000 during its peak months. With nearly 100 rotating vendors each week, the market’s winter season runs from October-May and is hosted weekly from 9 am – 2 pm.
For those who haven’t been, the massive event showcases local farmers, a plethora of international ready-to-eat goods (more than 15 countries and their cuisines are represented weekly), fresh seafood, baked goods and other accoutrement. The market also features selected local artists and craftsmen, as well as live music.
In St. Pete’s warmer months, the Summer Market switches up the venue and hosts a smaller version of its weekly display. The slightly scaled down version opens from 9 am – 1 pm from June to September.
