There’s always something creative happening in and around St. Pete, but this fall, Creative Pinellas is bringing even more color to the calendar. From the first week of November through the first week of December, Art Everywhere will transform Pinellas County into a celebration of creativity, bringing together nearly 30 arts experiences that will pop up in museums, galleries, parks, beaches, theaters, and other unexpected places.

The name Art Everywhere isn’t just a catchy slogan. According to Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, Pinellas County has more art per square mile than anywhere else in Florida, and this celebration will spotlight that creative energy in a big way. Nearly 30 artists and organizations were selected to participate, and Creative Pinellas awarded a total of $350,000 to help bring their projects to life. You can see the full list of events and shows here.

The program received nearly 140 applications. Funding was provided by Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, while Creative Pinellas directed the grant program with support from both the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance and Clearwater Arts Alliance.

The lineup includes familiar names such as The Dalí Museum, The James Museum, FloridaRAMA, Tombolo Books, Sunscreen Film Festival, Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA), The Florida Holocaust Museum, Dunedin Brewery, and many others. Together, they’ll offer everything from art shows and live performances to films, literary events, public art projects, and hands-on experiences for creative and curious visitors. See the full list of project descriptions here.

Opening and closing events

Art Everywhere will kick off with St. Petersburg Museum Week, running November 1 through 8. During that week, participating museums will host special programs, including a celebration of African masking, a Native American heritage celebration, films inspired by The Beatles, live music, and Rise!, a musical about young Jewish women who served as spies and resistance leaders during the Holocaust.

Then, on December 6, Art Everywhere will conclude with Clearwater Illuminations: Lantern Festival & International Night Market at Coachman Park (300 Cleveland St). The event will fill the waterfront with glowing paper lanterns, live entertainment, local makers, international food, and family-friendly activities, making it a bright way to wrap up a month filled with arts experiences.
