La dolce vita has arrived in St. Pete. 9th Street Coffee & Bar is now open at 2930 Dr. MLK Jr. Street North, offering “Italian style” coffee, wine, pasta and more.
The cozy cafe made its debut last week, open daily for both morning and evening service. We’ve yet to visit 9th Street Coffee & Bar ourselves, but the establishment promises a wide range of coffee options, including traditional espresso-based Italian coffee, as well as Greek, American, Belgian and even Turkish-style brews.

Wine is also a big part of the experience, bringing vino and caffeine together under one roof in the true European style. The cafe offers an “upscale” and cozy bar with tons of natural light and comfortable seating. We haven’t yet seen the food menu, but glimpses on social media have shown a variety of pasta dishes and antipasti to pair with wine.
We’ll be sure to share more soon once we make our first visit, and let us know if you’ve been in to try the neighborhood’s newest spot. 9th Street Coffee & Bar joins a bustling corridor, taking residence near old favorites such as Pineapple Espresso and Sunset Grille, as well as fellow newbie (and quick sensation) Golden Isles Brewing Co.
