St. Pete’s most historic hotel is getting a high-end shopping experience to match its luxury status. The Vinoy Resort announced this week that the Sunni Spencer luxury beach lifestyle boutique is opening in reimagined lobby this December as part of the resort’s comprehensive renovation.
This will be the Tampa-based boutique’s newest location, and the thoughtfully curated shop will sell chic, resort-inspired clothing, accessories and swimwear for women, men and children. The boutique will showcase contemporary labels including Cult Gaia, LoveShackFancy, James Perse and Stoney Clover Lane, along with exclusive totes from Poolside Bags that are custom-made for The Vinoy. Private shopping will be available to those looking for a more personalized experience.

Formerly a senior buyer at Bergdorf Goodman, Sunni Spencer debuted her first boutique in New York City in 2017 and currently has a brick-and-mortar store in Tampa’s Hyde Park Village.
“My brand is inspired by my travels across the world and expressing the carefree feeling of a luxe vacation no matter where you are,” says Spencer. “With the opening of my latest location in the lobby of The Vinoy, I’m curating a premier shopping experience that captures the true essence of luxury travel.”
Sunni Spencer will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Stay tuned for updates on the opening day.
