Update: The grand opening for the Spirit Garden has been pushed back to Friday, September 8 (originally scheduled for September 1) due to Hurricane Idalia.

The project has been in the works for years as part of St. Petersburg Distillery’s expansion and renovation of the property. Their Spirit Garden will showcase signature cocktails made with the distillery’s own award-winning spirits, and incredible Italian food made fresh by Cala Italian Kitchen. The official grand opening celebration takes place on Friday, September 1 from 6-10 pm, featuring all the great cocktails and food alongside Florida vibes, live music, and giveaways.

Situated at the entrance of their tasting room, the Spirit Garden features covered outdoor seating, music, cornhole and other games. Cala will add traditional Italian cuisine to the garden experience, serving up a variety of dishes, including a mouth-watering selection of fresh focaccia breads, pizzas and pastas. The Spirit Garden will be open Tuesday – Thursday from 5 to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 pm, and Sunday from 5 to 9 pm.

“The opening of the Spirit Garden is a significant milestone and a look into the future of St. Petersburg Distillery,” said Matt Risley, the distillery’s Director of Brands and Marketing. “The new Spirit Garden is not just about serving great cocktails; it’s about bringing people together in a space where great food and drinks are shared and lasting memories are made.”
