The poweredUP Tampa Bay Tech Festival, presented by Docubee, is set to return to downtown St. Pete on May 22nd at the Mahaffey Theater, promising a day brimming with tech innovation and inspiration. As the largest tech conference in St. Pete, this year’s festival features a stellar lineup of speakers and sessions, highlighted by keynote speaker Igor Jablokov, founder and CEO of Pryon.

Meet the visionary keynote speaker: Igor Jablokov

Igor Jablokov is a renowned leader in the tech industry, celebrated for his groundbreaking work in artificial intelligence (AI). As the founder of Yap, the first fully automated cloud platform for speech recognition, Jablokov revolutionized AI and paved the way for future advancements. Yap’s acquisition by Amazon marked a significant milestone, as it became Amazon’s first AI-related acquisition, and laid the foundation for products like Alexa, Echo, and Fire TV.

His keynote at poweredUP will delve into his entrepreneurial journey, innovative contributions to AI, and insights into responsible AI development. “I am honored to be invited as this year’s keynote speaker at poweredUP Tampa Bay Tech Festival and excited to share meaningful insights in the newest emerging tech and innovation hub,” Jablokov stated. “The pandemic showed us that we need to fully engage our national resources and Tampa Bay’s addition is critical to the growing landscape of tech hubs.”

A full day of tech panels and networking opportunities

The festival promises a comprehensive schedule of tech panels and discussions, covering a broad spectrum of topics such as practical AI applications, technology’s influence on the music industry, modern defense strategies, AI and entrepreneurship, proactive threat detection through AI, and fostering collaboration between corporations, startups, and investors.

Attendees can also look forward to exclusive pre-event networking sessions, providing a platform to connect with fellow tech enthusiasts and potential collaborators. The day’s activities will conclude with a post-event happy hour, offering two complimentary drink tickets (for attendees 21 and older) to unwind and network further.
