The weekly Saigon Night Market in Clearwater is one of the best foodie experiences in Tampa Bay, and the organizers of the Asian market are about to throw their biggest event yet. The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is taking over England Brothers Park in Pinellas Park this weekend for two full days of incredible eats, entertainment, and community celebration on September 16 and 17.
The sprawling festival honors the traditional mid-autumn celebration, and festivities will include dozens of specialty food vendors, live music, kid’s activities, a lion dance performance, and even a pho eating contest, among plenty more. We recommend arriving both hungry and adventurous. Tickets are available here.

The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is the first big event for Saigon Night Market, which has quickly garnered a cult following. We made our first visit to the Asian market over the weekend and we were blown away by the authentic (and tasty) food and the community vibes.
Hosted on Saturday and Sunday nights at 14100 US Highway 19 North, outside the Little Saigon Plaza, the market showcases dozens of food vendors representing the Asian diaspora. There are tons of freshly prepared dishes, as well as fresh produce and also some pre-packaged meals. We recommend bringing a friend or three and sharing dishes from the many vendors. Plus, if you feel like having some extra fun, you can join in on the karaoke (which provides entertainment throughout your meal either way).
Learn more about Saigon Night Market on their Facebook, and find tickets to the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival here. The Saigon Night Market will be in action this Saturday and Sunday (September 2 and 3), and will then take time off for the rainy season before returning on October 28.
