The 49th Annual Mainsail Art Festival brings 250 artists to St. Pete

Get ready for the 49th Annual Mainsail Art Festival, coming to beautiful Vinoy Park in downtown St. Pete on April 20 and 21. This massive Tampa Bay art celebration brings in an estimated 100,000 attendees each year. The festival offers a vibrant blend of quality art, live music, and engaging entertainment.

Organized by a dedicated team of volunteers, the Mainsail committee ensures a top-notch experience for all, featuring talented artists vying for a share of the impressive $60,000 prize money pool.

Shop from more than 250 artists at Vinoy Park

There will be more 250 artists and exhibitors set up at the waterfront park. We’re pretty sure even the dolphins on the seawall will appreciate this amalgamation of lovely art.

This marquee attraction in St. Pete was among Sunshine Artist Magazine’s “100 Best” Fine Art Events in the U.S.

Performing arts will also be celebrated during the weekend. Officials have released the full lineup:

Performing and culinary arts on full display

Mainsail Art Festival isn’t pet-friendly, but service animals are welcome. It’s free to attend, and food and beverage will be available for purchase at the event. Paid parking available at South Core garage, Al Lang surface lot, and Beach Drive. Free event shuttles from 2nd Street between Central and First Ave South to Vinoy Park (Sat. 8:30am to 6:30pm and Sun. 9:30am to 5:30pm). More info at St. Petersburg Trolley.
