The owners of Allelo St. Pete on Beach Drive have announced their newest restaurant, Juno & the Peacock, set to open soon at 400 Beach Drive in downtown St. Pete. A new high-end cocktail lounge in downtown St. Pete
“Having lived here all my life, I am incredibly proud to contribute to the growth of St. Pete and bring new dining experiences to my hometown,” said co-owner Jeanna Damkoehler. “It has been a labor of love, bringing together experts in every field, from the design firm to the culinary and beverage teams, to create an entirely new culinary destination in the Tampa Bay area. We can’t wait to unveil the concepts in a few short months and are confident our vision and attention to detail will impress.”
The menu at Juno & the Peacock will combine American fare, like dry-aged steaks, with modern coastal cuisine, such as a seafood tower with a signature twist, seared grouper, and crab cakes approved by Maryland-raised owner Shawn Damkoehler.

This new downtown hangout will feature a lounge called Pluma. The splashy new hangout will introduce visitors to “drinking traditions” and cocktails from Lima to Tulum, according to the owners.
Expansive seating and perfect views on Beach Drive
Juno & the Peacock and Pluma will provide seating for up to 268 guests, encompassing both indoor and outdoor areas and offer a carefully curated wine selection highlighting over 1,400 choices primarily sourced from New World regions.
“For the design of Juno & the Peacock, we drew inspiration from the casual Floridian sophistication of St. Pete—letting old details meet modern design— and the historic St. Petersburg-Tampa Airboat Line, drawing on the region’s aviation history and innovative spirit to inform material choices and special design details,” said Dennis Askins, Design Director of AvroKO’s studio in New York City. “Together with international influences, these elements tell a story that feels distinctly local.”
