This Friday is the beloved “Final Friday” at John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk (12945 Village Blvd), which is held on the last Friday of every month from 6pm to 9pm, and offers fun for the whole family. As the sun sets, the air becomes infused with the sounds of live music, bustling crowds, and boiling seafood.

In addition to many of the retail shops and restaurants offering discounts during Final Friday, there’s also a charity raffle for vouchers to many of the stores! From restaurants to seaside excursions, this is a great opportunity to support the community and potentially knock off some bucket list items.

John’s Pass charm extends far beyond this event!

Named after the famed pirate, John Levique, John’s Pass was cut in 1848 by the largest hurricane to ever hit Tampa Bay. Thanks to Wilson Hubbard’s work in 1980, there now stands the John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk with over 100 shops, water-related businesses, and restaurants- including five different ice cream shops!

From Florida-inspired souvenirs, clothes, and fine jewelry to authentic Cuban cigars and locally crafted beer, there’s no shortage of treasures to discover and take home. This Friday, revelers will also be entertained by K-Lu and The United Funk Foundation, as part of the Final Friday’s rotating cast of free live music performances.

Parking convenience adds to the accessibility of John’s Pass, with a parking garage, street parking, and beachside lots across the street, ensuring that visitors can focus on enjoying the festivities without worrying about logistics.
