Family and kid friendly events this weekend – June 21-23

Little Llamas Children’s Boutique First Anniversary Celebration
Friday June 21, 2pm-7pm, 2319 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N St.
Little Llamas Boutique is turning ONE and they are throwing a birthday bash with fun activities for the whole family! This is a FREE event that is open to the public and will include a ribbon cutting, bounce house, snacks, refreshments, and a kid’s fashion show. 

Flick and Splash Summer Movie Series
Friday June 21, 7pm-10pm, North Shore Aquatic Complex, 901 North Shore Dr. NE
Cool off and float away your troubles every Friday evening with a dive-in movie! This week the featured movie will be Disney’s movie, “Wish”. Cost: $1 (Ages 3 – 12), $2 (Ages 13+).

Messplorations at Great Explorations Children’s Museum 
Saturday June 22, 10:30am-4pm, 1925 4th St. N
Bring your kids out to Great Explorations to enjoy a variety of messy activities and let their creativity run wild. From painting and crafts to sensory play and more, it’s all about having fun and making a mess – and the best part is, parents don’t have to clean up! FREE for members, $18 for non-members.

Beach Blonde Block Party – 3 Daughters Brewing
Saturday June 22, 12pm-close, 222 22nd St. S
Bring the family out to a massive block party at 3 Daughters Brewing featuring live music, a huge market, food trucks, giveaways, and a fun beach themed party with towels, sand toys, sunglasses, beach balls, tank tops, and more.

Parents Night Out – Summer Edition at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
Saturday June 22, 6pm-10pm, 1101 Country Club Way S. 
Plan a date night and drop the kids off for a Saturday evening of outdoor-themed activities including activities, games, crafts, a pizza dinner, and and a night hike! This event is for children ages 6-10 years old. Pre-register by June 20. 

St. Pete Pride Parade Day Festival
Saturday, June 22, 2pm-10pm, North and South Straub Park
Celebrate Pride with the whole family! Find the community stage, family zone, low stim area, and local food options and vendors in South Straub Park! Starting at 6pm is the 22nd St. Pete Pride Parade! Cheer on the marching groups, catch some swag, and celebrate the beauty and diversity of our community anywhere along the parade route.

Stroller Strength- Healthy St. Pete
Saturday June 22, 9am-10am, Walter Fuller Park, 7901 30th Avenue N. (Meet at the playground)
Healthy St. Pete presents Stroller Strength on the FOURTH SATURDAY of every month. This class is perfect for all those with newborns and young children who want to make exercise a habit and to meet new friends. Strollers NOT required. This is a FREE event. 

Watermelon Weekend at Keel Farms
Saturday June 22-Sunday June 23,  10am-3pm, 5202 Thonotosassa Road, Plant City
Take a day trip to Plant City and enjoy two days of sun-soaked fun that the whole family can enjoy. Admission is completely free, with parking for just $10. Cool off with seasonal releases of wines and ciders. Enjoy fun for the whole family with kid zones, a market, and of course – watermelon!
