Barks and Brews, the first off-leash dog park and taphouse in West Pinellas, has officially opened its doors at 14219 Walsingham Road in Largo. Serving Largo, Seminole, Indian Rocks, St. Petersburg, and the greater Pinellas County area, this unique spot offers a 7,000-square-foot playground where dogs can run free while their owners relax with craft beers and fine wines.

With hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays (open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays), Barks and Brews is set to become a go-to spot for dog lovers. The facility also boasts 1,500 square feet of indoor, climate-controlled space, ensuring comfort for both pets and their owners year-round.

A place for pups and their owners to unwind in Pinellas County

Barks and Brews was founded by three friends who envisioned a community gathering space where people could unwind with their pets. Their mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment where dogs can play off-leash, and owners can enjoy great drinks and even better company. It’s more than a dog park—it’s a place to foster human and canine connections.

Follow Barks and Brews on their Facebook page to keep up with upcoming events, and visit their website for more details. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for November 2 and 3.
