The BE’s bike scavenger hunt gets a new coat of SHINE. Enjoy friendly competition, sweet prizes, a sick shirt and a bike valet. It culminates with an awards ceremony and party. #BESHINY is a new partnership between The Body Electric Yoga Company and Shine St Petersburg Mural Festival’s 5th Annual Mural Festival. This 2-wheeled adventure launches from The BE where pairs set out to conquer strange challenges around the city. The final clue sends the group to SHINE’s finale party for the awards ceremony and festivities. Runs from 2-7pm. $33 per rider before October 8 (includes sick shirt) / $33 after October 8 (no shirt). Join the 4th annual dog costume contest hosted by Maxx & Me Pet Rescue! Judging starts at 8:30pm and dogs will be separated into three groups, small, medium, and large. Each group will be judged on three categories: Best Ensemble, Funniest & Most Creative. Prizes will go to the top three in each group category! Yoga Poolside at The Hollander with The Body Electric Yoga
Enjoy a yoga class poolside at the landmark Hollander Hotel in downtown St. Petersburg. Salute the sun with a rotating cast of characters, and then cool off in the Hollander’s beautiful pool. SHINE Mural Festival Grand Finale at The Factory
SHINE Mural Festival comes to a grand end this Saturday. The event takes over The Factory St. Pete, an emerging arts hub in the Sunshine City. The event will feature an Indie Flea pop up, the reveal of the largest mural created at the festival, a live mermaid show, screen printing, music and more. The event runs from 2pm-sunset. The Witch’s Pumpkinfest
The Witch’s 8th Pumpkinfest will be held on Saturday as the real Autumn weather settles in. A perfect beer style for the cooler climate and the celebration of the upcoming Halloween. Drop off an already carved pumpkin (from 3pm til 8:30pm) and for your Jack-O-Lantern we will be giving the creator a $10 Witch Gift Certificate. Tampa Bay Rowdies Watch Party at Al Lang Stadium
Join the Rowdies loving community for the official watch party to cheer on the Rowdies as they take on Louisville City FC in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals of the USL Championship Playoffs. Jack Kerouac Night at the Flamingo Bar
Folk music, beat poetry and a celebration of the life and times of the famous American author and literary icon Jack Kerouac, at the bar where he had his last drink in October 1969. A fund-raiser for the Friends of Jack Kerouac’s House to help in their efforts to repair, maintain and preserve the great author’s last residence, right here in St. Petersburg. 7:30-11:30pm. Thrice to Mine with Roxanne Fay at Studio@620
The Studio@620 welcomes Roxanne Fay and her latest one woman work, “Thrice to Mine”. An epic, earthly yet mystical adventure of a woman’s triumphant survival in the 11th century, “Thrice to Mine” was created at Hawthornden Castle in Lasswade, Scotland. Suenos De Dali
Join the Dali for  the Surreal Circus that is Suenos de Dali, as the Museum and its grounds are transformed into a big top experience like no other. Lecture with Nicole Seymour, author of “Bad Environmentalism” at MFA St. Pete
“Bad Environmentalism” responds to these absurdities and ironies by highlighting an alternative path utilizing camp, irreverence, perversity, and playfulness to address our very real environmental issues. From drag performance to indigenous comedy, Seymour expands our understanding of how environmental art and activism can be pleasurable, even in a time of undeniable crisis. 2-3:30pm. Volunteer Village Sponsored by AARP Tampa Bay
Back for its second year, the event will showcase opportunities for civic-minded folks to volunteer for over 70 non-profit organizations, events and a few businesses that contribute substantially to the community, for one-time commitments or ongoing ones – from special events to board service- you can sign-up to volunteer right there. 11am-3pm. All Hallows Eve Festival at Green Bench Brewing
All Hallow’s Eve Revival will be hosted Sunday, Oct. 27 from 6pm-10pm in the Green Bench Brewing Beer Garden. We are raising money for Creative Clay, so come decked in costume at this family-friendly event.
