A hot new Turkish restaurant is opening soon in St. Pete: Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine at 1236 Central Avenue. PTM Partners, a leading real estate investment management and development firm with award-winning projects across Florida and DC Metro, and DoveHill Capital Management, a Fort Lauderdale-based, vertically integrated hospitality investment organization, announced the execution of a lease with the modern Turkish restaurant on the ground floor of The EDGE Collective. The restaurant also has plans to open in Wesley Chapel.

Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine’s space will span more than 5,000 square feet on the ground floor of the building facing Central Avenue, along with outdoor dining within the hotel’s garden between the Moxy by Marriott Hotel and the 1246 Central Avenue building.

1246 Central Avenue is an adaptive reuse development of a historic structure adjacent to the soon-to-be completed 163-key Moxy by Marriott Hotel. The building is being entirely renovated to include modern infrastructure and technology, more light and air via increased glass and window installations, and optimized spaces across all three levels, according to a press release. The ground floor where Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine will be located will include increased visibility and access into the space from all frontages for a more inviting restaurant, notes the design team.

“Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a seasoned, well-established operator in Florida that aligns well with our food and beverage tenant strategy,” said Shari Neissani, Vice President of Development, PTM Partners. “This new St. Petersburg flagship location will not only be a great addition to the restaurant group’s portfolio, but also an amazing addition to the EDGE Collective mixed-use development in downtown St. Petersburg.”
