One of downtown’s most highly-anticipated projects is celebrating its grand opening this weekend. COhatch St. Pete is officially opening the doors of the new co-work space on Friday, December 8 at 15 8th Street North.
While COhatch will be open all day, the official grand opening party (in conjunction with King State) takes place from 4-7 pm, and interested guests can RSVP for free here. Festivities include food and drinks, a live DJ, yard games, a dunk tank, a sand dollar painting booth for kids, and an official ribbon cutting at 4 pm.
As for COhatch itself, the co-working company is bringing much-needed workspace and amenities to the neighborhood, housed inside the beautiful and historic Harlan Hotel. In addition to being located in the same building as the beloved King State and their food, coffee and beer, members of COhatch receive a long list of perks.
While reliable wifi certainly tops the list, we are perhaps most excited for the unlimited free coffee and tea. There are also meeting rooms available, private offices, and multiple coworking spaces.
COhatch offers a wide range of access plans, from day passes and “starter” packages to a part-time young professional membership and an unlimited plan, with many more in between. Learn more about the options available here.
“Tired of the usual 9 to 5 ways, we decided to find a new way to work, meet, and live,” COhatch says. “From Day 1, we’ve wanted COhatch to be local-focused and community-driven. Our values are more than just scraps of paper, we’ve built our team with these ideas from the ground up.”
