Greg Nardi: Three Days of Mysore at The Body Electric (All Weekend)

Greg Nardi returns for a 3-day Mysore intensive. This is the traditional method of Ashtanga yoga practice. Please be familiar with the Primary series. See the full class schedule by clicking here. Tater Tot Throw Down 

Get out to Albert Whitted Park for an epic Tater Tot Throw Down. The Gulf to Bay Food Truck Association has put together another incredible food-centric event that’s all about crispy tater tots. The event is FREE to attend. 6-11pm. Albert Whitted Park, 480 Bayshore Drive Southeast.

St. Pete Sign Lighting Ceremony at Ferg’s 

The World Liquors sign is back in the EDGE District…in a new location. The sign has been restored and now sit outside Ferg’s Sports Bar. To celebrate its return, the bar owners are holding a special lighting ceremony and block party. There will be music, games, food and more. The event runs from 6-10pm. Free to attend. Garage Sale at The Pavilion’s Back Alley Warehouse (Friday & Saturday)

Who wants to go treasure hunting? This Friday and Saturday The Pavillion’s Back Alley Warehouse brings together a wide variety of local vendors selling some of the most unique items you’ll find anywhere. RCS Pinellas Food Drive and Tampa Bay Rowdies Match at Al Lang Stadium

Your Tampa Bay Rowdies have joined RCS Pinellas to bring help and hope for people in need with a Food Drive on Saturday. St. Pete Tacos and Margs Crawl 

Do you love tacos? Do you love margaritas? Of course you do. This Saturday you can enjoy both during a downtown St. Pete bar crawl. Participating bars include Park & Rec, Thirsty First, Caddy’s on Central, Crafty Squirrel, One Night Stand, Saigon Blonde, MacDinton’s, Yard of Ale, and The Avenue. The event begins at 2pm. Showgirls with Commentary by Matthew McGee! at METRO Inclusive Health

Actor/drag artist and film buff Matthew McGee will be offering commentary and encouraging audience participation throughout the evening as organizers raise money for the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival with all the class and style of Nomi Malone in her brand new Versace party dress. 7:30-10:30pm. Bluegrass for Punks at The Iberian Rooster

St. Pete, you need to see Whisky Fish String Band at the Iberian Rooster. It blends punk and bluegrass in a way you’ve never heard before. The concert runs from 10am-2pm. Iberian Rooster, 475 Central Avenue.

Uncle John’s Band Summer Saturday Night Show at The Ale and the Witch

It’s Saturday night in St. Pete, which means live music at The Ale and The Witch. Uncle John’s Band performs live in the courtyard. Terrapin Beer Co. will be here too with a tie-dye t-shirt station where you can make your own tie-dye shirt. Indie Flea Summer Pop Up Series at St. Pete Shuffle

Summer Sunday Matinee Music Series at The Vinoy

End of Summer Bash with Hunger & Thirst Restaurant Group

Say goodbye to an epic summer with a huge block party hosted by the Hunger & Thirst Restaurant Group. There will be drinks, music, a dunk tank, a 20 ft. water slide, pools, photo booths, BAE Beauty Bar braid bar, water guns and a lot more. $1 from every drink special sold goes to the IamMore Foundation, along with a percentage of sales from 11am-7pm. The restaurant group is also currently collecting school supplies now through Sunday. Every donation gets a raffle ticket and the drawing will be at the End of Summer Bash! 11am-11:59pm.
