The interior of Mangosteen

The highly anticipated Mangosteen has officially opened its doors on the 600 block of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. A tropical bar and restaurant, Mangosteen specializes in yakitori, tapas, tacos, sushi and stir fry, as well as a lengthy craft cocktail list.

Mangosteen’s creative and flavorful menu spans a wide spectrum of tastes with everything from squid seaweed salad and duck dumplings to shrimp tacos and a spicy Korean steak sandwich. The extensive menu also offers 16 different sushi rolls, another half-dozen Asian-inspired bowls and wok dishes, several salad options, and more than two dozen choices in appetizers, dumplings, yakitori, sashimi and nigiri.
