A new foodie destination inspired by northeastern cuisine is on its way. Tiki Tim’s Pub and Grille has announced its upcoming opening at 923 72nd Street North in St. Pete, with renovation of the space already underway and a full opening expected in April.

Tiki Tim’s says it will have a food menu where “the best of Philly meets the Eastern Shore.” While a full menu has yet to be shared, the pub says to expect Philly cheesesteaks, crab cakes, and everything in between. Sign us up for all that comfort food.

The restaurant is opening in the space most recently home to Pesky Pelican Brew Pub, which permanently closed at the end of 2023. Tiki Tim’s has been renovating and updating the restaurant in the weeks since moving in, giving the space a more tropical theme, as well as new lighting and updated seating.

The family-owned pub has long been the dream of its namesake proprietor, Tim, who got a tiki tattoo 10 years ago that he and the family have always wanted to be the logo for their pub if they ever got the chance to open one. It may have been an entire decade, but that logo has officially been brought to life alongside their dream bar.

More offerings at Tiki Tim’s, according to the facebook page, will include Italian hoagies, Sausage and Peppers, Porkette with aged provolone, and much more. Stay tuned for updates on the opening.
