Clearwater Marine Aquarium, at 249 Windward Passage, has reopened after Hurricane Milton and Helene. Dive into a sea of lights and wonder with Aqua Lanterns: a Chinese Festival of Lights. This dazzling new after-hours experience debuts on October 18, running Wednesday through Sunday evenings until December 30, 2024, plus select extra dates.

Captivating lanterns elevate the under the sea experience
As the sun sets, the aquarium transforms into a glowing seascape, filled with stunning illuminated sculptures. Marvel at the 13-foot-tall lanterns of whales, penguins, jellyfish, and more sparkling sea creatures. Wander through this enchanting marine world, with over 30 beautifully crafted lantern displays, set beside the real-life marine animals that inspire visitors every day.
