Beers on the Pier returns to Museum of History this weekend with unlimited sampling

People at a beer festival

Beer lovers rejoice – Beers on the Pier is back this fall! Hosted by the St. Petersburg Museum of History and presented by J.J. Taylor Distributing, Beers on the Pier is the museum’s annual celebration of all things boozy and historic, showcasing more than 20 breweries alongside the incredible museum.

The event takes place at the St. Petersburg Museum of History on Saturday, October 26, from 7-10 pm, and tickets for the popular event are available now. Guests will be able to enjoy unlimited sampling from breweries both local and national, spanning from Florida to California thanks to J.J. Taylor’s incredible collection of beers. Tickets are $50 in advance, and we recommend securing yours soon, as this annual favorite is always a hot ticket.

In addition to the beer, all tickets include access to the St. Pete Museum of History and its galleries, complete with a 3,000-year-old mummy and the world’s largest signed baseball collection. It’s a fitting pair because, as the museum notes, beer first arrived on Florida’s shores with the Spanish some 500 years ago.

To make things even better, Mom’s Taco Truck will be on hand dishing up some of the best street tacos in the region. Nothing pairs better with beer than cheesy, crispy goodness.

Proceeds from Beers on the Pier benefit the St. Petersburg Historical Society, which supports the mission of protecting St. Pete’s rich history. General admission tickets, which include unlimited sampling and museum entrance, are $50, available here. There are also $20 designated driver tickets that include access to all festival grounds and the museum. Guests must be 21+ to attend Beers at the Pier.

“We’re excited to partner with J.J. Taylor to bring Beers on the Pier back to the Museum of History,” said Museum Executive Director Rui Farias. “Craft beer has a deep history in Florida, and it’s only fitting to share these beers in a 102-year-old museum!”
