Prost! The start of September means the return of Oktoberfest season and all the wonderful festivities it brings. Here in St. Pete, there is no lack of activities planned over the next couple months, particularly as our bounty of breweries makes the holiday even easier to celebrate.

Whether you already have a closet full of lederhosen and dirndls, or you’re just happy for an excuse to eat pretzels and drink beer, there is something for everyone in the Burg this year. Oktoberfest at Mad Beach Craft Brewing Company
All September and October
If you haven’t been to Mad Beach Craft Brewing, this is an excellent excuse to check it out. The John’s Pass favorite is showcasing a wide selection of German beer, sausages, pretzels and more for two months straight.

Green Bench Oktoberfest
Saturday, September 17, 12-5 pm
The first-ever Oktoberfest celebration at Green Bench Brewing Co includes German beers, a live Oktoberfest band, and German food by Dusty’s Hot Stuff.

Oktoberfest at St. Pete Brewing Company
Saturday, September 17
The recently-expanded brewery is showcasing its space with an all-day celebration of German beer, food and music downtown.

Oktoberfest at Bayboro Brewing
Saturday, September 24, 12 pm – close
We’ve long said Bayboro is one of the most underrated breweries in the Burg, and their Oktoberfest will bring live music by Apple Strudel Oktoberfest Band, delicious food specials, and tons of German beer.

3rd-Annual Oktoberfest at Gulfport Brewery
Saturday, September 24
Yet another must-visit brewery on the list, Gulfport Brewery + Eatery is home not only to great beer, but some of the best food you’ll find in town, brewery or otherwise, plus an Oktoberfest costume contests for humans and pets alike.

8th-Annual Oktoberfest at 3 Daughters Brewing
Sunday, September 25, 11:30 am – 8 pm
The all-day celebration is one of the biggest Oktoberfest parties in the bay, complete with an Oompah band from 2-6 pm, a stein holding competition, German food, and plenty of beer.

Wheel Haus Oktoberfest
September 25 – October 3
This week-long extravaganza will feature a special menu of German-inspired dishes, traditional German Festbier, and the transformation of The Wheelhouse into an Oktoberfest-style beer tent.

Galley Oktoberfest

September 27 – October 9

The Galley is celebrating with two full weeks of food and drink specials, including uber pretzels, schnitzel, liters of German beer, and their annual Sam Adams Stein Hoist Competition.

German-American Society Oktoberfest
September 30 – October 15, 5-10 pm
Every Friday and Saturday for three straight weekends, the most authentic Oktoberfest celebration in town features traditional German fare, dances, imported Bavarian beers, and made-from-scratch German delicacies.

PAWtoberfest Weekend at Pinellas Ale Works
September 30 – October 2
St. Pete’s most dog-friendly brewery is bringing a bark-worthy Oktoberfest celebration to town, complete with the release of its beloved Pumpkin Oktoberfest beer.

2nd-Annual Piertoberfest
Saturday, October 1, 12-8 pm
The scenery is Florida, but the celebration is all Bavaria. Hosted at the St. Pete Pier, Piertoberfest is a gigantic Oktoberfest party complete with beer, games, live music, and tons of food.

Grand Central Oktoberfest
Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2
Grand Central Brewhouse is hosting a family-and-pet-friendly celebration in its beer garden all weekend, complete with live music, and German food by local favorites Lolita’s and Le Clementine Bakery.

Beerfest Re-boot at Old Northeast Tavern

Saturday, October 1, 2-7 pm

Beerfest at Old Northeast Tavern is back, with $35 tickets including all-you-can-eat German fare and all-you-can-drink draft beer and house wines. Tickets must be purchased in-person in advance or day of.

4th Annual Beer Olympics and Oktoberfest at Bier Boutique
Saturday, October 15, 1 pm
The St. Pete favorite for craft beer is not only breaking out German food and beer, but hosting a Beer Olympics with four-person teams.

ROCKtoberfest in Williams Park
October 28-30
The first-of-its-kind Oktoberfest party is weekend-long outdoor celebration hosted by Big Storm Brewing, complete with a stellar lineup of live music, food vendors, and Big Storm beer.
