St. Pete is turning into a holiday wonderland with its “Holidays in the Sunshine City” lineup! The City of St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation team has organized a dazzling array of seasonal events, perfect for all ages. From parades and tree lightings to snowy play areas and holiday movies under the stars, there’s festive fun for everyone.
96th Annual Santa Parade & Tree Lighting

Downtown St. Petersburg
Kick off the season with St. Pete’s 96th annual Santa Parade, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Albert Whitted Park and moving along Bayshore Dr. to 5th Ave. NE. After the parade, gather in North Straub Park for a sparkling tree lighting ceremony. Bring the family and start the holidays in style!

Snowfest
Saturday, December 7, 9am-2pm

Snow in St. Pete? Absolutely! Snowfest returns with toboggan slides, inflatables, arts and crafts, and holiday games. Wristbands are $5 and cover all activities—available early online or at any city recreation center. Join the fun for a day of frosty cheer and family-friendly excitement!
Holiday Movies in the Park
Get cozy with a holiday movie under the stars! Bring blankets and lawn chairs for a free outdoor screening filled with holiday spirit. Each night starts at 6:30 p.m. with festive activities like Santa photos and reindeer games.
