We want your Christmas tree
The City of St. Petersburg will collect live Christmas trees for free during a one-time, citywide collection between Jan. 11-Feb. 10, 2025. Have your Christmas trees placed outside where your trash is usually collected by 7 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, to avoid missing the pickup.
Remember:
- Remove all lights, ornaments, garland, tree stands, plastic tree disposal bags, and other decorations.
- Place the tree in the same location where trash is usually collected. If trash is picked up at the curb, trees should be placed at the curb; if trash is picked up in the alley, trees should be placed in the alley.
- Do not place the tree inside trash or recycling containers or lean the tree against electrical poles, trash containers, water meters, etc.
Live tree drop-off options, artificial tree disposal, and more info at stpete.org/Collection
