CareFest is back in St. Petersburg this fall, offering residents a chance to make a difference in their community. Partnering with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay, the City of St. Pete invites locals to get involved in various volunteer projects, running now through Thursday, October 31, 2024.

From painting and fence repairs to landscaping, residents can adopt projects that directly benefit those in need and beautify neighborhoods across the city. CareFest offers multiple ways to participate:

  • Adopt a Project: Select a local project from a list of opportunities at stpete.org/AdoptAProject.
  • Organize a Neighborhood Project: Community leaders can spearhead cleanup efforts or neighborhood projects.
  • Host a Donation Drive: Gather items for local nonprofits.
  • Donate Funds: Support homeless services by contributing at a Power of Change Donation Station in downtown St. Pete or by signing up for automatic donations through the City’s Utility Assistance Program.

For more information on how to participate, visit stpete.org/CareFest or contact the Neighborhood Relations Department at ICAN@stpete.org or 727-892-5141.

Though CareFest wraps up on October 31, the city encourages residents to give back throughout the year, keeping the spirit of community support alive year-round.
