The newest bar in Gulfport is bringing a truly elevated experience to the area. Sober Bar, a zero-proof and functional craft cocktail and coffee lounge, officially opens to the public on Tuesday, June 16, at 3062 Beach Boulevard South.
The sober and non-alcoholic movement has been booming lately, evidenced by the massive popularity of St. Pete’s NA bottle shop Herban Flow. A full cocktail and coffee lounge devoted to the experience is a welcome piece of that evolution, and this one looks like it is setting the bar high, no pun intended.

The team behind Sober Bar has clearly done the work to make this an elevated experience in more than just the liquid. The new space, as previewed in teaser videos, is stunning. It’s swanky, it’s comfortable, it’s elegant – it looks the way an upscale cocktail lounge should. This one just doesn’t have any bourbon behind the bar.
Sober Bar plans to offer a wide range of beverages, including some eye-catching zero-proof cocktails, a full coffee program, and a variety of functional beverages and kava. The new lounge will also offer a range of small bites and shareable dishes.
The goal, their team says, is to create a space that invites you to linger day through night. It’s a lively cafe by afternoon that transitions into a place bouncing with bar energy by night.
“We’re building a sober bar that feels intentional, social, and elevated,” they explain, “not clinical, not performative, and never like an afterthought. The goal is simple: a room you actually want to spend the night in.”
Details are still scant, but this is one where the anticipation and patience appear likely to be quite well rewarded. They sold out of reservations for their preview night on Monday, June 15, but you can get on the waitlist here.
