Smack My Axe is the newest entertainment destination in St. Pete Beach and the decor is giving galaxy bowling vibes and we’re here for it. The new axe throwing spot utilizes new technology projecting games over the wood axe targets to “bring a new level of interactivity and fun,” notes the owner in a press release. “It’s like a cross between an arcade, a bowling alley and a batting cage!”
The new St. Pete Beach hot spot is located at 7460 Gulf Blvd. It’s been open for a couple of months, but this week marks its grand opening on St. Pete Beach. The March 30 festivities will run from 4:30pm–6:30pm.

Smack My Axe’s grand opening event is free for attendees. Guests can try out the new state of the art projected targeting systems. Reminder that closed toe shoes are required if you would like to throw axes after the demonstration. Light snacks and drinks are available at the venue. Smack My Axe will be raffling off a free 20-person team building event to a local business during the event.
The venue offers eight lanes of axe throwing fun with state-of-the-art projection targets and multiple games with scoring for those competitive friends. They offer a good array of beer and wine for adults, and have cultivated a throwback glow in the dark aesthetic to amplify the fun factory inside. This not your typical axe throwing venue.
