One of Pinellas Park’s biggest celebrations is back this week with the annual Sacred Heart Spring Festival. The sprawling, family-friendly event takes place April 19-23 at 7951 46th Way North. Admission is free each day, with the festival open 6-11 pm Wednesday-Friday, 12-11 pm Saturday, and 12-8 pm Sunday.

The Sacred Heart Festival’s five days of fun includes tons of rides big and small, a plethora of hot food, live music every day, carnival games, a local vendor market, beer and wine, and much more. Admission to the festival is free for all ages, with all rides, games and food purchased individually. Tickets and armbands are available for rides, including unlimited ride armbands for $20 per session available online now.

Rides are provided by Arnold’s Amusements, with a variety of kiddie rides, standard rides and “spectacular” rides. The festival will also have a variety of games for the kids, with favorites like try your luck, duck pond, can toss, and many more.

For those looking for a bite or two to eat, vendors will have a wide variety of options, including smoked mullet, turkey legs, Chicago beef, fried onion blossoms, zeppoli, burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken nuggets, and more. Parking for the festival is free, as well.

The annual event is always a local favorite, bringing an incredible festival feel to the area during some of the city’s best weather.

“Seeing is believing!” one reviewer said. “But you have to be there to enjoy all the fun, food, and fantastic rides! Best festival in Florida.”

Said another, “Fun for all the ages! Lots of rides, great spot to grab some of the best fair foods you will find.”
