Travel icon Rick Steves will join The Florida Orchestra for a symphonic European journey

Prepare for an extraordinary European escapade as the renowned celebrity travel guru, Rick Steves, takes the stage with The Florida Orchestra. Immerse yourself in the captivating landscapes of Italy, England, France, Norway, and beyond, brought to life on the grand screen, while Maestro Michael Francis conducts an enchanting repertoire featuring Beethoven, Elgar, Grieg, and Verdi. 

Rick Steves is sure to take the entire audience on a personal journey filled with anecdotes and revelations as they traverse this musical and cultural adventure.

This event is set for March 15 and March 16 at The Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater (400 1st Street South). Tickets range from $35-$100 and can be reserved in advance online beginning September 5 for TFO subscribers. Click here to subscribe. General on sale begins September 12.

A musical journey with Rick Steves and The Florida Orchestra

Rick Steves, America’s most respected authority on European travel, empowers Americans to have European trips that are fun, affordable, and culturally broadening. In 1976, he started his business, Rick Steves’ Europe, headquartered in Edmonds, Washington, near Seattle.

There he produces a best-selling guidebook series, a popular public television show, a weekly public radio show, a syndicated travel column, and free travel information available through his travel center and ricksteves.com. Rick Steves’ Europe also runs a successful small-group tour program taking 30,000 travelers to Europe annually.
