Following a highly successful run this past June, the Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project (PDAP) has announced the return of its hit ALYK Community Theater Project. This popular series offers free acting workshops designed to empower local voices and nurture creative expression across the Tampa Bay community.
The free workshop series will run every Tuesday from September 15 through November 3, held from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Artz 4 Life Academy, located at 1751 Kings Highway in Clearwater. The program is open to all adults as well as teens ages 16 and up, catering to both absolute beginners and experienced performers looking to refine their craft.

Throughout the session, participants will explore a comprehensive curriculum covering acting fundamentals, improvisation, scene study, character analysis, and character development. Their learning and skills will later be demonstrated in a final showcase in front of an audience.
Instructor Spotlight: Cranstan Cumberbatch
Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from award-winning actor, director, writer, and producer Cranstan Cumberbatch. Known for his starring role in “AGENT X, The Series”.
Cumberbatch is also the co-founder of DreamMakerz Productions and serves as an acting instructor at American Stage Theater, bringing a wealth of professional insight into the classroom.
