Be a Part of the First Winter Whiskeyfest

02.02.2018 Just added Amador Whiskey Co. and Kentucky Peerless Distilling to the roster!!!

Local distillers, American Freedom Distillery, has confirmed their participation in the upcoming Winter Whiskeyfest with their Horse Soldiers Bourbon Whiskey! The brand is based off of the Horse Soldiers, a handful of American Special Operations forces who were sent into Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom after 9/11. Their story, including one of the distillery’s proprietors, has been adapted into a movie, “12 Strong,” starring Chris Hemsworth, and currently showing in theaters nationwide.

Tickets are limited, with room for only 250 of our closest friends and fans. Get yours here.

To quote Mark Twain, “Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough.” Well, here in the Burg, we have too much sunshine, not actually a problem, and never enough whiskey, enter our inaugural Winter Whiskeyfest. Of course, when we say winter in Florida what we mean is lows in the 70’s and, to us, that’s perfect whiskey weather.

Taking place Friday, February 9th from 6pm–9pm, the event will welcome revelers to the brand new La Florida Ballroom at Red Mesa Cantina where they’ll be able to try over 12 different whiskeys, enjoy light bites, and mingle over live DJ entertainment. Plus, guests will receive a keepsake commemorative whiskey tasting glass to help them remember (not like that) the special evening.

I Love the Burg is partnering with Red Mesa Cantina to showcase their beautiful downtown venue and benefit a great community cause.

Participating brands/distilleries include:
Belle Meade Bourbon
Coopers Craft
Old Forester Signature 100
