We love celebrating moms, and we also love it when a plan comes together. With Mother’s Day this Sunday, St. Pete offers plenty of ways to do both. While this list isn’t completely exhaustive, we’ve gathered some of the best ways to celebrate mom, whether it’s at brunch, with a nice gift, or a family adventure on the town.

Best spots for brunch or coffee

Cassis: Beach Drive’s resident French restaurant is celebrating with a specialty Mother’s Day brunch menu of tasty breakfast dishes, plus champagne toasts and a bottle menu.

Good Intentions: The delightful and delicious new vegan restaurant not only has Mother’s Day brunch specials, but also build-your-own bouquets on site this Sunday.

Kahwa Coffee: Take mom to any of Kahwa’s cafés on Sunday, and moms get a free small beverage with any purchase. If you’d rather get her coffee for home, Kahwa is giving 10 percent off online sales with the code ‘LOVEMOM.’

Postcard Inn on The Beach: If mom likes her toes in the sand, take her out to PCI for a special Mother’s Day brunch menu, then hop on out to the water and relax.

The Scott at The Cordova Inn: A hidden gem downtown, The Scott is perfect for coffee and pastries in the morning, or cocktails and charcuterie in the afternoon.

Take her shopping or pick up a last-minute local gift

3 Daughters Brewing Mother’s Day market: On Saturday from 12-5 pm, more than 50 local vendors will take over the brewery, the perfect chance for a last minute gift or to let mom pick out her own.

The Body Electric Yoga classes: If mom is also an aspiring yogi, take advantage of The BE’s intro offers and get her 10 days of yoga for only $10, or two weeks of all-you-can-yoga for $49.

Maison Glo facial membership: The gift that keeps on giving year-round, Maison Glo’s Glo-Getter Club gets mom a facial every month, discounts on products, access to member parties, and special birthday surprise (which you can totally credit for, too).

Upstairs St. Pete: The boutique on the second floor above Rollin’ Oats is an absolute moms paradise, packed full of great gifts and home wares big and small. Close your eyes and point, and you’ll find something she’ll love.

Do something fun together

The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art: Moms get into the museum for free this Sunday with the purchase of at least one regular ticket, so get the family together and treat mom to some great art.

Mother’s Day Reggae Festival and Market: 1/3 food festival, 1/3 music festival, and 1/3 local vendor market, this event on Sunday from 12-5 pm has a little bit of everything, making it a perfect spot for the whole family – and especially mom – to enjoy.

Second Saturday Art Walk: What mom doesn’t love a good walk? And this one spans throughout the Central Arts, EDGE, and Warehouse Arts Districts as you stroll from gallery to gallery and enjoy food and drink along the way.

St. Pete Tacos & Tequila Festival: She’s not like regular moms – she’s a cool mom. The two-day festival has dozens of great taco food trucks and tons of local and regional distilleries all showcasing what they do best.
