Matteo Trattoria & Pizzeria will open a new restaurant at 2363 Central Avenue between Cocktail St. Pete and The Saint Speakeasy in the Grand Central District of St. Pete.

Family-owned restaurant Matteo Trattoria & Pizzeria is bringing your favorite Italian dishes to Central Avenue, but with a California flair. Nando Silvestri opened the first Matteo’s in Los Angeles in 1992. Since then, the restaurant has expanded and is serving up delicious pizzas, pastas, and other classics at its Tampa location.

Named after Silvestri’s son, Matteo’s prides itself in offering hearty meals in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. The best part? You can fill up on your favorites and indulge in a night out without breaking the bank thanks to the restaurant’s moderate price point.

Though the authentic Neapolitan pizza is a staple at Matteo’s, its extensive menu is full of homemade pastas, traditional entrees, and appetizers so tasty that you could make a meal of the first course alone. It also includes a list of vibrant seafood dishes, a gnocchi bar, and healthful salads.
