More than 35 of the region, state and country’s best breweries are set to descend upon St. Pete this March. King State’s Lagerfest returns on March 9, as dozens of great craft breweries take over The Brutalist Brewing in St. Petersburg, and tickets to the high profile beer event are on sale now.

The annual celebration is hosted by King State Beer, the minds behind one of St. Pete’s newest breweries, The Brutalist. The team responsible for so much beer is not only one of the most respected in the area, but also has a long history of celebrated collaborations with other breweries and creative concoctions on tap at The Brutalist.

Lagerfest is a celebration of that creativity and collaboration, and is just as much a favorite for those in the brewing industry as it for those who just enjoy good beer and good times. The festival runs from 4-8 pm (GA access is 5-8 pm) and includes unlimited pours of a long list of beers. In addition to specialty brews from all 35+ breweries, Lagerfest serves as the first (and often only) chance to try specialty collab brews between participating breweries.

Beyond the beer, Lagerfest also has a King State coffee bar, a pizza station, food trucks, and a commemorative drinking vessel that attendees can take home. And if you haven’t yet been to The Brutalist to try their beers and see what they’ve done with the space, this is an excellent opportunity to make up for that. There will also be more than half a dozen great Tampa breweries in attendance – an excellent chance to try them out without crossing the bridge.

Admission to Lagerfest is 21+ only. GA tickets are $50, and VIP tickets are $75, which includes early access and a meal ticket for the King State pizza stand. The Brutalist is located at 1776 11th Ave N. Learn more about King State Lagerfest here.
