It’s never too late to go back to school – just ask your favorite local coffee shop. Kahwa Coffee, the St. Pete-born caffeine success story, just opened its newest location in town, this one on the USF St. Pete campus.
The new café is housed inside the University Student Center at 200 6th Avenue South. After opening this week, the new Kahwa café and all of its caffeinated and freshly-baked goodies is open to the public and students alike. This on-campus location will be particularly useful for students to grab quick coffees and snacks on the way to and from class, keeping all Bulls ready to charge.
If you stop in for a visit, be sure to try out Kahwa’s newest concoction: the Kahwa Fizz. Calling it their take on an Italian soda, these sweet and refreshing treats are outstanding, and the perfect way to beat the summer heat. They’re available in berry Pink or Orange flavors.
Kahwa shines as St. Pete success story
The opening of this new location follows the news of its new drive-thru on Park Street, which started welcoming customers this spring and has already become a hit for the neighborhood. With each new opening, Kahwa continues to cement its status one of the finest purveyors of coffee in Florida.
Of course, there’s still more to come in St. Pete for the beloved local business. While no opening date has been set, Kahwa is building a new 4th Street drive-thru using three refurbished shipping containers. The unique new spot will be located at 6623 4th Street North.
