Halloween on Central has quickly become one of the most beloved events in the Sunshine City. Each fall, nearly two miles of Central Avenue shut down to traffic, transforming St. Pete into a pedestrian-only playground filled with costumes, creativity, community, and surprises. From the EDGE District to Grand Central, more than 100,000 attendees fill the streets in celebration—and for the first time in years, the coveted title sponsorship opportunity is back on the table.

On Sunday, October 26, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Central Avenue will once again come alive with trick-or-treaters, live performances, art installations, food trucks, vendors, and larger-than-life entertainment. It’s the kind of event that defines St. Pete—family-friendly, wildly creative, and fueled by community spirit.
Halloween on Central is one of the biggest events of the year
“This event has quickly established itself as an icon in St. Pete,” said Roger Curlin, executive director of the EDGE Business District Association. “Attendance typically exceeds 100,000 and gives residents and visitors the perfect all-community gathering. Now in its fifth year, this event allows the kids to be kids and adults to feel like kids again.”
Following back-to-back hurricanes in 2024, Halloween on Central nearly didn’t happen. But just 17 days after Hurricane Milton, the team rallied—bringing joy and a sense of normalcy to the community during a time when it was needed most.
A rare title sponsorship opportunity
That resilience speaks to the event’s spirit—and the crucial role sponsorships play in bringing it to life. “Besides an immense thank-you to our returning Diamond sponsor, T-Mobile, whose commitment is instrumental to Halloween on Central’s return in 2025, we are also actively searching for our 2025 Title Sponsor,” said Chris Arnold, executive director of the Grand Central District Association.
The title sponsor receives far more than branding—they become a cornerstone of this iconic event. Perks include:
- Title recognition in all media, including influencer content and press releases
- Logo pairing with the official Halloween on Central brand
- Exclusive TV and radio mentions
- Premium logo placement on 1,000 trick-or-treat totes
- Priority consideration for future sponsorship years
Diamond-level sponsors also receive logo placement on volunteer gear, preferred vendor booth locations, free vendor space at non-Halloween events in both districts, and additional media exposure.
Funds raised through sponsorships are reinvested directly into improving the Central Avenue business corridor and supporting future open streets events throughout St. Pete. Past sponsors like Grow Financial helped the event flourish with creative campaigns like “Life Less Scary.” Now, a new brand has the opportunity to leave its mark on one of the city’s biggest days.
A thrilling open streets experience
Over the years, Halloween on Central has featured zombie dance mobs, haunted houses with an artsy twist, marching bands, bubble machines, foam parties, and even an ice cream hearse. It’s more than a street festival—it’s a living snapshot of what makes St. Pete great.
Pro tip: Ride the SunRunner, bike over, or use rideshare to make the most of your day. If you drive, Tropicana Field lots are usually available for parking.
Ready to get involved? Title sponsorship is a chance to be at the heart of it all—elevating your brand while supporting one of St. Pete’s most vibrant annual celebrations.
