Gulfport Brewery has stepped up in a big way to support the local community in the wake of Hurricane Helene, providing a vital donation hub for those in need. Residents poured in with donations, responding to the brewery’s call for essential supplies. They’re now back to work and transitioned the donation site to the Senior Center. Make sure you support this funky, and delicious brewery when you can.
The Gulfport Senior Center, located at 5501 27th Ave S, now serves as the community’s new drop-off point. Shawarma King has also joined the relief efforts, offering 700 free hot meals starting at 10:30am on September 30 for those affected.

Volunteer and spread the word around Gulfport
Relief organizers in Gulfport have issued a new list of needs for those looking to assist in the ongoing recovery from Hurricane Helene. Volunteers are especially needed at the Hickman Theater to help organize and unload supplies in two-hour shifts from 8am to 5pm, starting tomorrow through Friday. Additionally, organizers are seeking volunteers to spread the word about available supplies and assist with caravans distributing goods. Heavy lifting, carpet removal, and drywall cutting volunteers are also needed. For the latest updates, residents are encouraged to check the Gulfport Merchants page and the City of Gulfport’s official channels.
