Parking will be crowded all weekend, so we recommend taking advantage of PSTA’s free park-and-ride services on Saturday, and the free SunRunner all weekend, which includes multiple stops in Grand Central, the EDGE District, and downtown.

This Sunday, eight blocks of Central Avenue are being transformed into a gigantic street carnival, all in the name of celebrating Pride Month. The Pride in Grand Central street fair takes place from 12 – 5 pm on Sunday, June 25, running along Central Avenue from 20th Street to 28th Street.

The streets will be closed to traffic, just as they were for the Halloween in Grand Central party, allowing festival-goers to roam as they please and explore all that will be on display. In addition to specials from the many shops, restaurants and bars lining Central Avenue, there will also be live music, roving street performers, food trucks, an expansive market lining the sidewalks, carnival games, and much more.

The event, which marks the final grand celebration of St. Pete Pride, is presented by CAN Community Health and is completely free to attend. More than 200 vendors will be on site, alongside all of our Grand Central favorites, stretching from Trophy Fish and Taphouse 61 all the way past Studio Pub and Hawthorne Bottle Shoppe

There will be multiple performance stages, interactive games and experiences, karaoke, best dressed contests, headline concerts (check out Tiffany at Cocktail), and much more, with hundreds of local businesses in attendance. And if you need some good pride gear (for humans or their pets) be sure to stop by inclusivitea for the city’s biggest collection.

Pride in Grand Central is expected to draw thousands as one of the month’s premier events, and while there are only eight blocks shut down to traffic, the festivities will be spread all throughout the district.
