Two St. Pete favorites are teaming up to bring an elevated café experience to the Warehouse Arts District. Eat, Art, Love, known for its standout weekend brunch, is partnering with beloved coffee purveyor Sage’s Playground to create a full-service café at 589 22nd Street South. The new café opens January 3rd, serving breakfast, lunch, and coffee every Wednesday-Sunday.
The café will operate from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, featuring Sage’s Playground’s renowned coffee, including its café shakerato (a frothy Italian iced coffee), cold brew, teas, lattes, and fresh-ground espresso. Guests can also enjoy baked goods and breakfast and lunch offerings.

Eat, Art, Love’s brunch, already a local favorite, will continue on weekends, now enhanced with Sage’s Playground’s coffee. Signature dishes like the poached egg dip and confit duck leg over white grits with whipped feta remain must-tries.
The collaboration marks a big step for Sage’s Playground as it prepares to open its own brick-and-mortar, dog-friendly coffee shop in the future. Meanwhile, Eat, Art, Love is also expanding with a weekly dinner service every Friday starting in the New Year, helmed by Chef Mario Brugnoli, a rising star in Tampa Bay’s culinary scene. If his brunch dishes are any indication, the dinner menu promises to impress.
