An extravaganza of shopping, eating, music and more is coming to The Trop this Saturday, July 2. Hosted by Saturday Morning Shoppe, the Burger, Beer and Crab Festival is filling up the parking lot at Tropicana Field from 12-5 pm on Saturday for an afternoon of family-friendly fun and revelry.
Some of the Bay’s best grills, crab pots and restaurants will be in attendance dishing out hot, cheesy goodness, alongside tons of St. Pete’s favorite food trucks and bartenders slinging great local beers. In addition to the food and drinks, there will be a sprawling market full of local artists, makers, boutiques and more. The festival takes place in Lot 4 of the Tropicana Field parking area, and attendance is free. Parking in open spots in the parking lot is also free, subject to availability.

The food festival and market will also feature live music, saxophone performances, line dancing, a teen market, bounce houses, and even a kids area. There will be interactive arts and crafts stations, as well. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, relax, and enjoy the free entertainment while they eat, drink and browse.
One the highlights of the event will be a free concert by renowned saxophonist Marlon Boone, beginning at 1 pm. All told, the festival will showcase nearly 100 local restaurants, food trucks, breweries, artists, shops and more.
Saturday Morning Shoppe provides opportunity for emerging small businesses
Renee Edwards is the brains behind the Saturday Morning Shoppe operation. Edwards has also founded the Saturday Morning Shoppe Academy to provide business coaching, business etiquette, resources, marketing, and licensure that would allow hobby vendors to grow their business and income.
Using her knowledge and platform, Edwards is able to assist nearly 150 businesses every month by connecting incredible makers and owners to the community they serve. More upcoming Saturday Morning Shoppe Events include Gospel on the Green in Clearwater on July 23, and a Back To School festival on August 6 at The Trop.
