Mickey’s Organic Cafe on Central!

Cosmickey’s Cookies and Macaroons have found a home away from home on Central Ave. The decadent treats, typically featured at the Saturday Morning Market can now be found behind the counter at Mickey’s Cafe. The cafe is offering far more than just dessert. There will be vegan-friendly and gluten free options for those with dietary restrictions. The cafe will be open for breakfast lunch and dinner. The location is still under construction but they hope to be open by April. The cafe can be found at 318 Central Ave.

Zatar, The New Kid On The 400 Block

Jamal, the owner and chef behind the new Mediterranean restaurant Zatar, has been in the ‘Burg for decades. This veteran of the Sunshine City is introducing fresh, exotic flavors to the 400 block. His menu is comprised of Middle Eastern influences with decadent Arayes entrees, unique BBQ cornish hens and simpler meals like lamb burgers for the less curious customer. Zatar, at last notice, is still in its soft-opening stages but should be fully open by next week. Their menu provides an array of vegan friendly options and even a few for the gluten intolerant. You can find Zatar and experience their sweet lemon scents at 437 Central Ave.
