New Pizza Spot Coming Soon to the EDGE District

Pizza Box, a restaurant specializing in organic, handmade and wood fired cooking, will soon open its doors in the EDGE District. Located at 923 Central Avenue, Pizza Box was born out of a passion for food and for the city of St. Pete. Owners Adam and Kelley Duff built and installed everything you see in the restaurant, "from the decor to the woodfire ovens." 

Their crust is made from a 100-year old sour dough starter. The owners plan to host music and art events on a weekly basis once open like a vinyl night to pay tribute to some of their favorite artists. Owner Adam Duff and his brother Andrew, who is the head chef at Pizza Box, recently created their first mural on the back of the restaurant. The Siamese cat named Pearl joins the Burg's growing list of street art creations to see.

Central Melt Opening Soon 

Central Melt offered a sign of hope for St. Pete foodies eager to sink their teeth into a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich. The spot has been buzzed about for months on the blossoming 600 Block of Central Avenue. The restaurant said that the final touches will be done at the space within the next couple of weeks.

Located at 685 Central Avenue, residents can expect Central Melt to open as early as this May. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for an official opening date. 

Cobb Theatre Opens at Tyrone Mall

Cobb Theatres adds Tyrone Mall to their list of locations. The luxury cinema franchise will open a 10 screen theatre at the Tyron Square Mall on Friday, April 15. The theatre will feature the full service Cobbster's Kitchen and Bar, a walk-through concessions area, homemade pizza and a barista bar. 

The theatres will also feature reserved electric reclining seats. Cobb Tyrone Luxury 10, 2998 Tyrone Boulevard.
