The new Brandon spot will be Bolay Fresh’s 18th location in less than five years — and the St. Pete location is set to be unveiled this November.

Giving out $15,000 worth of free bowls

Brandon’s Grand Opening Celebration featured an assortment of surprises, scavenger hunts, swag giveaways and even $15,000 worth of complimentary ‘Bols’ given out over the celebratory weekend.

The chef-inspired menu includes ample gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

The assortment of bases includes forbidden black rice and cilantro noodles, topped with veggies featuring options such as ginger broccoli, herb roasted potatoes and balsamic mushrooms.

Featured proteins include steak au jus, savory miso glazed tofu and spicy Thai shrimp for a bit of heat.

Each ‘bol’ is finished with add-ons such as fresh cilantro and parmesan cheese followed by signature sauces such as creamy garlic and herb, cilantro pesto and spicy Thai sauce.

Guests can also find juices, teas, agua frescas and desserts to complement their meal.

Catering to contemporary diner needs

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to introduce our fresh, bold flavors to the Tampa Bay Area, starting first here in Brandon,” said Guillermo Novoa, operating partner of the newest Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen. “At Bolay, we don’t want to just be another restaurant on the block. Our goal is to become a hub for inspiration, personal growth and development; encouraging our team and guests within the local community to be the best versions of themselves. I personally love how eating at Bolay makes me feel and I can’t wait to share that passion with our guests.”

The Brandon location spans 2,600 square feet and will offer both indoor and outdoor patio seating for nearly 70 guests. Dine-in, curbside pickup and direct delivery will be available to best suit how every guest would like to enjoy their favorite bol, along with catering and Family Meal options.

Details on soft and grand opening festivities

“We have had our eye on the Tampa Bay market for the last three years, and right now felt like the perfect time to jump in,” said Chris Gannon, CEO and Co-founder of Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen. “To me, this feels like somewhat of a homecoming, a full circle moment. My father Tim created Outback Steakhouse in this town and to bring my very own concept to the region is a great source of pride for me. Brandon and St. Pete are exciting areas to begin our journey here on the Gulf Coast, and I can’t wait to see where else we can grow.”

Visit the Brandon location once open at 1544 w Brandon Blvd.
