The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival is one of the world’s best and biggest sand sculpture exhibits, and this year’s theme is “Sands of Time” in honor of their 10th anniversary.

Tampa Bay Blues Fest

One of America’s premier musical events is a St. Pete favorite, as the Tampa Bay Blues Festival takes over Vinoy Park for three straight days of headliner performances, food, drink, and much more.

Mainsail Art Festival

The sprawling annual arts festival fills downtown St. Pete with hundreds of local, national, and international artists, plus food trucks, live music, refreshments, and interactive exhibits.

31st Annual Spring King of the Beach
📍Madeira Beach • April 25-27
This long-running fishing tournament is a hit every spring as sportsmen from all over descend on the area for a weekend of fishing mackerel and celebrating with music, food, drink, and more.

St. Anthony’s Triathlon
📍Downtown St. Pete • April 26-28
Race in paradise as you kick off race season with the beloved annual triathlon along St. Pete’s lovely and historic downtown waterfront.

Green Thumb Festival
📍Walter Fuller Park • April 27-28
The Green Thumb Festival is a plant lovers’ paradise with two days of plants, workshops, exhibitions, and fun, featuring more than 120 garden, plant, and flower vendors and exhibitors, plus a flower show and a garden wagon parade.

Derby at The Pier
📍St. Pete Pier • May 4
As part of a huge charity fundraiser, “Derby at The Pier” is a gigantic, waterside celebration of the Kentucky Derby, as guests don their best outfits for a day of high-end bourbon, specialty craft cocktails, and cigars.

St. Pete Tacos & Tequila Festival
📍Vinoy Park • May 11-12
The city’s marquee taco fest showcases two days full of incredible live music, dozens of the area’s best taco trucks and chefs, and some of the city and state’s best distilleries and breweries.

St. Pete Pride Month
🏳️‍🌈Various Locations • All June
St. Pete is home to one of the biggest LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations in the country, as the full month is packed full of big events, culminating in the huge St. Pete Pride Parade at the end of the month.
